I've always had a passion for being fit but I had specifically started weight training hoping to enhance my performance in inline speed skating.
Why I Love It:
I love the way it makes me look and feel. I get a huge sense of accomplishment when I finish a session. And I love being stronger than your average woman off the street.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by seeing the changes my body goes thru and by the fact that I keep getting stronger.
BB Accomplishments:
I went from having an average physique to a physique that shows I lift with a six pack and everything!

Please don't PM me asking for personal help with diet and/or training, I just don't have the time.

There have been many changes in my life over the last 6 months. We put our house up for sale in NC, I had a baby, we moved into a friend's house to rent, and now we have just moved to Crestview, FL. Amongst all this I've tried to stay in shape and since my daughter's birth I have tried to...
Hey, sorry, yeah I am good. I was in the process of moving from Arizona to Washington so I hadn't thought much about getting online much. And I had started school so I was busy. I did get off track for a couple weeks but got right back on and as you can see, I have been sticking with it and startin to get some good results. Thanks for checking up on me. I see you haven't been on in a while. Hope everything is good with you.
We partied yesterday, the smash cake was a blast! I can't believe it's been a year already. Dieting today to makeup for the cake pig-out that I did. LOL
Sending Happy B-day to your LO. Mine is on the 21st, I don't remember yours. I know you said you wanted to keep it simple, I couldn't agree more. We have a smash cake. Too cute! BTW, my diastasis is much improved. Yay!
Your welcome. Glad to hear your dropping body fat % Ya, I been meaning to put up some photos myself. Just way busy right now. Keep up the good work, you look great!
Thanks! Well it's better so I am happy about that. I am checking if a sports doc is on my ins. They think they can help me. My separation is closed COMPLETELY in a crunch (yay!) it's leg raises where I have a problem. I'll keep at it. :-)
We have had a couple of speed skaters on our league, too. Only one has stuck it out but she has become a fantastic jammer. I assume you skate on inlines? Quads are a different animal but skating's skating, you know? Carolina has a great league (I think they're ranked 5th or so right now) so if you ever decide you can make the time dedication to both give derby a shot! I guarantee you'll fall in love with it the first time you score a grand slam on the opposing team!! Nice abs by the way.
Thank you! Gotta say your transformation is pretty impressive as well! Read through your profile and love your attitude.
In line speed skating...WOW. Would love to see that ;)
My diastasis is improving but it is still obvious and a concern. When did you "know" you could do ab exercises. What exercise did you focus on first after strengthing your transverse?
Thanks a bunch. I currently jog a mile in the morning before I get my daughter up. And go to the gym around 10pm once shes back in bed. Should I be doing this everyday or split it up? Ive heard a few different opinions but have no idea who to listen to so I keep up my daily routine of both. =]
So I just read one of your replys to a thread in a forum. I loved the advice you gave. I will prob follow it religiously. I myself am trying to get my pre-prego body back. I recently bought a whey protein shake and drenbuterol. Do you have any advice on how to incorporate protein shakes into a diet? Thanks so much =] Ashley
