I joined the gym for my birthday to loose weight. I had never touched a piece of exercise equipment in my life. Everyone there was very encouraging and helpful to me, even though I felt out of place.
Why I Love It:
Working out has built my self esteem. It has taught me discipline and gives me a euphoric feeling. I have always been overweight but after two children my weight was really out of control. People really treat you differently when your overweight, but on the inside you are the same person.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at old pics sometimes when I was at my heaviest. I never want to experience that again.
BB Accomplishments:
Loosing 120lbs and changing my life!

It all started 6 years ago when I weighed 240lbs. and a size 22. I changed my diet and joined the gym as a birthday present to myself. Within 8 months I had reached my goal weight of 120lbs and a size 5. While I have kept off the weight and do pretty good with my eating habits I have fell of the workout band wagon. After looking at all the great pics on this website I have decided to get busy again. Right now I am 140lbs and in a size 7, my goal is to to get rid of the flab and build some muscle.

Monday- Leg Day (cardio 5:30am 20 min) incline @5, speed 4.0
Warm up: Stretch and leg lifts
Squats: warm up with bar 10reps
add 70lbs 8-10 reps x2 sets
add 40lbs 8-10 reps
back down to 70lbs to failure
Lunges: ...

You're welcome! Thank you too! Well, you probably already know this, but you'll have to make sure that you're eating enough to gain weight and make sure to lift heavy weight. You'll do fine; you already look great! Keep givin it 100% in the gym, and in the kitchen! Make sure you you eat very clean while you try to add muscle, and keep up with some cardio - just not too much.
