When I Started: Mar 2008
HOW I STARTED:

I started due to feeling out of shape. Also for the general health of my body through the beating it take while coaching.

WHY I LOVE IT:

It makes me feel good. I like the feeling of being pumped afterwards. Its a good sensation knowing I am taking care of my body.

Heading into Week #5 - Round 2

Well I finished my first deload week and ready to begin my program for the second time. I really enjoyed working out with this routine. It didn't tale up too much time. The workouts were fun and different, plus I always felt there was a goal every time I trained. Most times I made sure more than ever to be able to get my workout in for the day. Now that I am going into Month 2 I have done a couple things, but very few changes. I have increased my Working Max amounts. My upper body amounts increased 5 lbs, and my lower body by 10 lbs. I'm Liking my new routine

For almost 3 full weeks now I've been doing a new routine. Its a 5/3/1 routine. There are a few things I really like about this. Things are pretty busy in my house with a new child around so the first thing. 1. This routine doesn't take too much time to do. I am done most of my workouts including warmup in under an hour. 2. I don't need to feel as though I am pushing too hard to think I am working properly. 3. I look forward to each workout day. 4. Not all the workouts include heavy weight. I use a lot of body weight. Tried New Cardio Today

So I was reading an article in Muscle and Fitness in the latest issue and found an article about shedding fat. What a surprise!! I started to read it and I told myself I would give it a try. The concept was cardio with multiple movements with weight instead of on a treadmill or some similar tool. I am sure lots of other people have seen, heard of, or tried this before, but it was the first time for me. I did 2 exercises today. Circuit #1 Dumbbell Lunge to Clean and Press.
