My Old Life The Clothes Don't Lie
This was me in January, 2008. I weighed about 270 and had been overweight for the better part of 20+ years. I decided to make a change in my life when a local fitness center sponsored a 12 week "Biggest Loser" program. I started my new life on February 4th, 2008.
Me wearing my favorite BB.com T-shirt at 6 weeks of training & at 52 weeks. I've put on almost 40lbs in 6 months and still have wiggle room in the 32" waist!

This is me now. I won the competition by losing 70lbs in 13.5 weeks!! I have never worked that hard on myself by myself ever. I reached my (then) goal of seeing a "1" on the scale for the 1st time since I had a 1 in the 1st part of my age!! Now begins 9 months of more intense work to have the build I've always wanted.

Leaning Out
Jul 1, 2008
From what everyone says they would kill for veins like this! It/they go up my arm & are starting across my chest. The kids think its cool!

Leaning Out 2
Jul 1, 2008
A view of the veins on the top of my forearms, as well as a little of the definition I'm picking up in my upper arm & delts. I'm pleased for this after only 6 weeks of serious lifting, and the 1st such effort I've made in 25 years.

6 Months - Back
Aug 11, 2008
Another view of my back at 11 weeks since starting, this one with spread lats.

6 Months
Aug 11, 2008
Here's an OK example of what my torso looks like 6 months since I started. I'm guessing around 12-13% BF.

6 Months - Back
Aug 11, 2008
My back after 11 weeks of lifting hard. This is probably my favorite aspect of what I've been able to do thus far.

Rear Double Bicep II
Nov 24, 2008
Another 3 months of work plus 3 weeks of cutting. I'm getting there.

Side Relaxed
Nov 24, 2008
A view of some of the vascularization I had.

Quads - Front
Nov 24, 2008
'm putting this here to keep me accountable in my efforts. This was November 08. All I had to work with were my SelecTech 1090 DBs, my bodyweight & my imagination. These chicken sticks gotta get bigger!

Had a nice pump after Chest/Bis, so I snapped a quick pic. This is 2 months since joining the fitness center and actually lifting bars & plates for the 1st time in over 20 years.
