Overall Goal: I will turn this lump of coal into a diamond thru the sheer pressure of my will, heart, soul & mind in the forge of hot sweat & cold iron, and force my body to metamorphasize into the build I've always wanted but was too afraid to try to earn

When I Started:
Feb, 2008
How I Started:
After losing all that weight, I started to get some actual definition. I've NEVER had definition. I like it....a LOT! So I decided to commit a year of my life to developing my body into the one I've always wanted but was too afraid to try to earn. I have now decided to extend that original 12 months into a 45 month plan thru the end of 2011.
Why I Love It:
I love the challenge of pushing my body's limits to new levels, striving to set new PRs every workout and the changes in my body, mind & soul as a result.
How I Stay Motivated:
I want "that body" and I'm determined to have it!

BuckSpinchanged Weight from 217.4 lbs. to 215.8 lbs., a 1.6 lb. loss in 14 days
This was me in January, 2008. I weighed about 270 and had been overweight for the better part of 20+ years. I decided to make a change in my life when a local fitness center sponsored a 12 week "Biggest Loser" program. I started my new life on February 4th, 2008.
Me wearing my favorite BB.com T-shirt at 6 weeks of training & at 52 weeks. I've put on almost 40lbs in 6 months and still have wiggle room in the 32" waist!

Goal (Long):
GOALS FOR 2009:
- I WILL begin serious training to eventually compete by 2011
- I WILL be that one Novice who gets the Open guys attention when I do come out into the sun to "play"...
- I WILL earn my NCSA CPT certificate in 2009
- I WILL be able to provide for my family with the above
- I WILL impact at least one life as a CPT like mine was
- I WILL weigh 200lbs after my annual cut...and look it
The cold filtered whey isolate is not electrically nor chemically extracted, is very low sodium (important to me) as well as fat & carb free. Cold is good for protein purity, and I like being able to chose what carbs to add (strawberries for me) and it frees up valuable diet budget space as well. I also like the "natural" aspect of the process. The cold filtered whey isolate is not electrically nor chemically extracted, is very low sodium (important to me) as well as fat & carb free. It was primarily a great eConversation with natty pro Tommy Jeffers a few weeks ago that led to this decision.....
He convinced me that, for a natty BBer, hitting each muscle group 2x/5 days in a Power/Hyper approach was the best bang for the buck as far as training gains.
I'm working with an AMAZING Sports Nutritionist (Mary Lavansky), who is a former National Champion bodybuilder and current Maine state champion powerlifter. After my serious weight loss in such a short time she has been tweaking my nutrition and set me up with a 4 week program to add some...
