Background

When I Started: May 2007
HOW I STARTED:

Memorial Day 2007 I stood crying at my parents graves. Dad died at 55 and mom at 66. I realized then and there that I was heading to an early grave myself If I didn't change. I went straight home found BB.com...bought a home gym and some free weights and have never looked back.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I love the discipline and the dedication it takes to excell at this sport. I also love it when people see me and say HOLY **** DUDE! How did you do that?

Ok so here I go heading into my final week of contest prep for my show on May 12th. Or, as we call it around my house....HELL WEEK!!! You're tired and grumpy from being carb depleted and you're so freaking hungry that at times you could knaw off your own arm but yet you can take comfort in the fact that you've kicked ass, you're in the home stretch and you look damn good!! Hell Week!!!

Ok so here I go heading into my final week of contest prep for my show on May 12th. Or, as we call it around my house....HELL WEEK!!! You're tired and grumpy from being carb depleted and you're so freaking hungry that at times you could knaw off your own arm but yet you can take comfort in the fact that you've kicked ass, you're in the home stretch and you look damn good!!


Saturday will be my last hard workout till contest day. It will be a full body affair and it's gonna be brutal. From Sunday to Wednesday it's just slow cardio to burn off the remaining bits of flubber along

Father's Day is Sunday and this year just like every year I always have mixed feelings about Father's Day and my relationship with my dad. My dad has been dead for many years now and I miss him very much but it took me a lot of years to get to the point where I can say that.

In my job as a fitness instructor and trainer I gets lots and lots of questions everyday.  And since people there also know I compete in bodybuilding they just naturally assume I know some secrets.
