First attempt at Lyle McDonald's depletion workout, and he was right, it is brutal. Incline barbell bench, barbell rows, military press, dumbbell bench, pull-downs, lateral raise, cable flies, shrugs, and face pulls - all for four sets of 15-20. 30 minutes of cardio afterwards on the elliptical at 80-85% maximum HR. Tomorrow is more of the same pain for legs, arms, and abs. Already dreaming of my carb-up on Sunday.
