So I got started because my ex and I had decided to get married. Well by the word "ex" you know it didn't work out. I intended on starting the lifestyle back in Jan 2009. Well I never got around to it. I was miserable in my relationship and with my weight... Well in July 2009. I decided to better myself mentally and end the 5.5 year relationship. I then realized I was happier, more confident, and self motivating, so now I am on my way to a better me physically.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel great afterwards physically and mentally! Seeing results makes me love it more!
How I Stay Motivated:
By taking pictures of all sorts to watch my progression. I also take my measurments, because even if it isn't showing up on the scale... it could still be coming off.
I used to be in great shape when I was in high school. I played soccer, tennis, and went swimming all the time and I had SO much energy. I want to turn heads and feel great. I miss playing sports and everyone being jealous of my awesome abs. I hit 190 and that was when I decided I needed to change something!I am also joining the Air Force and have to be in better shape for that!
I read your message in our 40+ group. My husband can eat anything and still have a 32 inch waist! I am doing a low cal diet too and doing it with low glycemic foods. I'm not as hungry as I used to be because I'm using NOW acai juice that I ordered off this site. It is supposed to be good for your heart too. If I can help let me know. Good luck!
