For almost 4-5years I have made a lot of sports but then i got a girlfriend. She and me were most of the time at home. We were real couchpotatoes:D:D ..years gone by...Now the girl is gone and the fit body i had is gone too..BUt now i decided to do a little bit sport to get my old sixpack back. I just train at home with some barbells. Perhaps i join a gym but i don't know if its necessary. We'll see...
I hope i get many tips and feel free to add comments..

Well, don't neglect your upper abs though! maybe for every one exercise you do for upper abs, do two for lower? Really, three ab exercises should be enough anyway, and don't forget to train your lower back too to maintain balance. Pay attention to your posture - don't allow your lower abs to relax and go all bulgy - keep it tight!
im just going to say you said the wrong thing to the wrong person, i wont take it personally but just watch what you say. I take pride in my position in the military and i take pride in my country no matter what!
drill..hmm.. its wasnt bad. did the usual PT ****s, and i did just fine, piece of cake. But today someone went awall today and so everyone else had to low crawl about 100 yards. It kinda sucked but hell thats the military. lol..
OK, then if you are totally unwilling to do cardio (schade!), you will have to cut out starchy carbs after 1 or 2 p.m. Try that and let me know how it works out. You should see results in about 2 weeks... Oh, and if you are eating any white sugar or white bread, STOP IT! ;) xo, Rachael
thanks! I have drill this weekned so training is off until monday. Which is sad for me but its not like im sitting on my ass thought i guess. Hows training going for you?
ok, well i guess technically you are correct--it is a 4 pack, but it still looks very nice.
i actually got my master's in german literature. don't use my degree at all - i work in finance!!
are you doing any cardio? tom venuto says a lack of abdominal visibility is not because of a lack of "working them" it is just a matter of body fat %. i bet if you did cardio in the a.m. (before breakfast) for 40 min you'd see the lower abs in less than two weeks. :P good luck!!
Hope your ab workout went well this morning. Since I had to pretty much stop the pushups for a few weeks due to the back pain, it was rough & I had to break it into several sets of 30-40 reps each. I have to build my strength back- I am a little sore from them too. Hope you have a great weekend.
