When I Started:
Apr, 2008
How I Started:
I've always been active, but never had the focus until now. I've danced since I was 4 years old and I so want to return to it. It's my zen.
Why I Love It:
I have always loved nutrition and how working out helped put things into persepective. Everything just falls away when you work out. I also love being able to add weight to exercises that were hard in the beginning.
How I Stay Motivated:
I found a picture of me at my best friends wedding and I was shocked I couldn't believe that I was as big as all that then. I think I purposefully forgot, but that's a woman's perogative. I won't be that big again, and with the Diabetes that runs in my family that's a promise you can take to the bank.

Brielerosechanged Overall Goal: "To see on the outside who I am on the inside.
To be confident in myself and my abilities.
To defy genetics and live to 120.."
I was the maid of honor at my best friends wedding. I was around 155 lbs. in this. I looked at the pictures and was shocked. I didn't think that I was that big.
I love the fact that I'm going down in pants sizes so well. I gain muscle so easily that sometimes the scale pisses me off.
To see on the outside who I am on the inside.
To be confident in myself and my abilities.
To defy genetics and live to 120.
Goal (Long):
To be who I am on the inside and let it shine on the outside. To prove critics wrong about women lifters and to prove to myself that birth defects don't control your fate; you do.
TinaBee inspires me because I am where she was and I hope to have something of the same support system that she had. I would love to look like her in 6 months.
What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
Honestly... Angelina Jolie has a great body even pregnant with twins.

Which pro bodybuilder/fitness/figure competitor has the ideal physique? Why?
I love Jennifer Nicole Lee's physique! I am a natural hourglass and it's nice to see someone with curves on the fitness circuit. I don't see that very often.
I have a TON of motivation, but my energy is seriously lacking here. I average 4 hours of sleep a night underway. Sometimes less. And yet I want to go and push myself and see results and have the reason I don't is because I can't get enough sleep to rejuvenate my body properly. In fact, as I...
Right now I'm doing a running program to get my cardio up to par. And am doing a combination of P90x and some general basic bodybuilding routines. I have to keep things changing or I get so bored.
i am so flattered- you leave me speechless (well almost). Thank you.
Your progress has been wonderful as well. Your pictures show how hard you have been working!

19 years in the navy and it always amazes me when people give up on life for something that's so ridiculous as relationships, money, cars, or getting in trouble. The facility I work in now has guys losing their careers, wives, and sometimes years of their freedom, so there's a lot of attempts here. You just got to watch for your people and see if they are showing the symptoms. Good luck with BFL.
