Overall Goal: My goals are to live a healthier lifestyle. Lose weight that I have added, tone my body to where I want it to be and gain some muscle mass, but not too much.

Starting all over again and getting back to the basics.
I originally started working out in August of 2008 and had great progress until my life had turned around for the worse, and stopped working out for almost a whole year in which was a big blow to my body. I loss muscle mass and gained weight in my abdominal area. As of December 13, 2009 I started all over and have no intension of stopping ever again. No matter what the situation may be.
Why I Love It:
Why I enjoy working out is the same for almost everyone else. To keep fit, to build a better body, and to live a healthy lifestyle. Working out not only increases to health, but it's a good way to stay occupied and keeping busy will help focus on anything but food and the idiot box "television". Working out and keeping in goo health is an addiction to almost everyone in the fitness industry, but this addiction won’t kill you at all, it's an addiction like this will only make you live longer. Bodybuilders and fitness experts are addicts to this form of lifestyle. Hopefully more people will become addicts too!!
How I Stay Motivated:
I keep thinking about how I have lived my life already, and choose not to go back. I look at myself every day and it's really great to see myself changing for the better. The hardest part of my life is I never took care of my body. I finally took charge of my health and gave myself a few simple goals to aim for. Challenging myself with determination to build my physique and the dedication will guarantee a true victory for myself in the long run.

Hi Brian, I hope you had a great long weekend..work day for us canadians but we had last monday off :) How have you been? I am mid way thru week 3 so time is flying and I am feeling stronger..every time it gets easier though I add weight so I have been pretty sore...luckily it is only 1-2 bodyparts at a time that are sore for 2 days... it is worth it though..I am already noticing how strong I am getting :)
I am really trying my best! I took "awful" before pics a week ago..lol they look like mug shots! haha So I hope in a month or so to take some more pics to see a comparison. My abs are really starting to come in...which makes me happy! Saving up my vacation for next winter, I really want to go to Florida for at least a month...maybe two :)
You must have really had a great workout if you are that sore today!! It is rainy and cold here so cardio indoors today. I am going to do chest and abs. Tommorow is a leg workout so I am a bit scared of not being able to walk too :) Are you taking any vacation this summer?
Hey Brian, my weekend is going great! In Canada, it is a 3 day weekend because of Victoria day tomorrow :) Hit the gym very hard this week, the new program is unreal. I hope I can walk after tomorrow lol How is your weekend? Enjoying the heat?
I know how that goes-glad to see you back!! I'm good-working a lot (Thank God-LOL) & keeping up w/my training...I can't imagine my life w/o the weights!
Thanks for your encouragement Brian. I am hurting bad today, but I feel great otherwise. I am going to have to take a hot soak with epson salts tonight...or I won't be walking tomorrow..my poor calves, back and abs!!
