What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?

What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
I had a back injury from deadlifting with heavy weights. It was a strained muscle and took about 4-5 weeks to fully recover. I stopped deadlifting and doing back squats. Description: Ok, so I attempt to Bench 250lbs for 3 or more reps. I only got 2 :mad:. My shoulder started acting up after the first 2 warmup sets and now I have a dull pain in my shoulder. I think I am going to lay off of the regular flat bench for awhile and let my rotator cuff rest.

Q: In a recent e-zine you made mention of the lateral [or outer] head of the triceps, saying that cable pushouts are an excellent exercise to target that area for arm width when viewed from the front. I thought pushouts worked the long head of the triceps. Or does an adjustment need to be made...
