I've always been very athletic and love going to the gym. However, having two beautiful, energetic daughters makes it tough to maintain my workout schedule. I'm hoping through motivation and determination to eventually become a certified PT so that I can earn money doing what I love, and not have to spend any more time away from my children just to get in a workout......and nothing gives me more satisfaction than helping other people feel good about themselves...and what I can do for me, I can certainly do for others.
Why I Love It:
A great stress-reliever, and definitely a boost when my self-esteem isnt that great. I love the way a one-hour spin class makes me feel at the end- like I've just accomplished a marathon! I love the energy that working out gives me- and that is rare to have with an 9 year old and a one year old!
Even after giving birth to TWO NINE POUND babies- I get constant compliments on my flat belly! Now I just need to work on getting my six pack and dropping body fat %.
How I Stay Motivated:
My children! They are definitely a good enough reason to want to stay fit and healthy. I strive to be a good example for them in all aspects of life- including nutrition and fitness. I struggled as a teenager with anorexia and fortunately, overcame that and through knowledge and getting to know MY body- I learned how working out and eating clean positively affects both my body and my self-esteem! I LOVE my body more now as a mother who is FIT- than I ever did even at my skinniest.
BB Accomplishments:
My all-time dream would be to compete (not necessarily win) a Ms. Fitness USA competition.
