Crazed body builder, works for hubby, happily married, mom of 3 teen+ boys. Gotta luv the males in my house!
I have been working out on and off for several years, but that all got put on the backburner for a few years by a demanding job. I have changed jobs and started working out with a vengence in May 2007. Got into kickboxing a year and a half ago and am totally addicted to it. Luv'n it!
Why I Love It:
I am amazed by the transformation I have been able to achieve. I believe you can achieve any goal if you really put your mind it. It also helps to enjoy it while your at it.
How I Stay Motivated:
I love reading about other BodySpace members' progress/motivation and just seeing my own results keeps me going. I like to reward myself when I reach goals too, though not through food. Maybe a hot new pair of jeans or some new workout gear!
BB Accomplishments:
Hey, I lost a lot of weight on my own! That's significant!

Kicking the @*%$ out of fat, one day at a time!
The photos taken on this vacation were the catalyst that got me going on getting into better shape. In this photo I maxed out at 175 lbs.
Here's a more recent almost full body shot. I've actually put on about 3 lbs, oooohhh big deal...so I'm not as lean as I could be, but seeing muscle in shoulders, arms and WOAH...are those quads? Some in glutes too, but you can't see that here, ha, ha.

Call him the energizer bunny, cuz this guy just keeps going and going! Look at him, amazing. If you think you are too old to start, think again!!!! Oh and in my opinion 55 isn't that old, Ed! Crazy physique, and all great!
Wow! What more can I say. This girl does some crazy lifts, awesome muscle! Some day I'll dead lift 365 lbs too....in my dreams. She's just set the bar a whole lot higher for me.
This morning when I woke I realized that every time I moved during my sleep I experienced Pain, everywhere. While sleeping seems to have helped it subside a bit, when I finally mustered the courage to move my body to get up there was a whole lotta Pain. Aching everywhere, head to toe, my...
Weight training on 4 days a week followed by 20 min HIIT on stationery bike (recovering from ham tear, this is the only cardio machine that works for me). Grouse Grind hike once a week in the warmer seasons, this is a one hour hard cardio in what is called "nature's stairmaster", trying to get...
Thank you! I do figure comps-did 4 last year & qualified for nationals. This is my off-season to build lean mass...the national level is a whole different ball game w/the muscle symetry :)
I love your Fit Status remark -- "Stark raving mad for the gym! RAAWWWRRR!". Great attitude! Really motivates me to work harder. That's how I want to approach each workout. So just wanted to say Thanks!
