When I Started:
How I Started:
Training for high school sports such as football, wrestling and track & field. Played some college ball as well. Then began to train others at local gyms, etc. Since then I've trained very sporadically. When I'm into it, I go all out, but on ocassion I've encountered injuries and lack of motivation that halted my training. I am now returning after a 6-year layoff. I am pleased thus far with the amount of drive and success I've had since my return to the iron. My primary goal right now is to transform my body to a level it has never been.
Why I Love It:
I like the power of manipulating my body. It drastically improves my mood and makes life more enjoyable. I get a twisted satisfaction from the feeling of lactic acid build-up and the drained feeling of my muscles after an intense workout.
How I Stay Motivated:
RESULTS! When I begin to see results it spurs me on to improve upon them.
I have decided to maintain a workout log. I began it today and will update on a daily basis. This will mean that most of my training information and comments will be posted there instead of here. I still plan to make some blog entries, but their focus will be a bit different. The log can...
