Background

When I Started: no information entered
HOW I STARTED:

Training for high school sports such as football, wrestling and track and field. Played some college ball as well. Then began to train others at local gyms, etc. Since then I've trained very sporadically. When I'm into it, I go all out, but on occasion I've encountered injuries and lack of motivation that halted my training. I am now returning after a 6-year layoff. I am pleased thus far with the amount of drive and success I've had since my return to the iron. My primary goal right now is to transform my body to a level it has never been.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I like the power of manipulating my body. It drastically improves my mood and makes life more enjoyable. I get a twisted satisfaction from the feeling of lactic acid build-up and the drained feeling of my muscles after an intense workout.

New Workout Journal!

Time to kick in the cardio!

I've been saying it for a while now and though I have began to do more and more, its time to really start hitting it.  Is there anything fitness related more boring?  Most of the cardio I have done so far has been on the stationary bike.  Long excursions on the treadmill has a very adverse effect on my knees.  Most of the cardio I will do will be done on the bike and the elliptical machine.  I've been studying and researching the optimal times to complete this task and will continue to do so.

Just got back from the gym after a great bicep/tricep workout.  Was a bit rushed due to getting a late start and the gym closing early.  I've been focusing on gradually reducing my rest times between sets lately and moving from exercise to exercise at a greater pace.  One thing I have found is that is definitely way to boost exercise intensity.  Though I find that I am not able to throw around the same poundages for quite as many sets, I do not feel that I am sacrificing much at all.  This approach can only be beneficial for my cut and has made my training a bit less m...
