How I Started:
I fiddled with weights in high school, but nothing really serious. In college I decided I should be hardcore about nutrition and fitness if I was going to be a doctor someday.
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel like a million bucks and I love seeing consistent gains in size and strength.
How I Stay Motivated:
It makes me feel great... it is easy to stay motivated.

Relaxed on the Jersey shore. At this time I was doing a four day per week maintenance split.
5-10-2007:
175 lbs. and 12% bodyfat.
One year makes a big difference: I am not quite as lean this year as I was last year at the beach, but I have added about 15 lbs. of lean mass in the past few months and I am very pleased with my progress thus far.

as for the deadlift: I warned ya, I use all back baby. I would not recommend new lifters use that form, but I find it's great for the traps and general back thickness.
I'm did my second day in the hospital program today! I met the surgeon who did my appendectomy last year and he let me watch him put a central line into someone's subclavian vein.
Amazing truth, isn't it? The power of the Spirit living in these earthly bodies. Just gotta keep my mind set on caring for the inside of the temple - and as much work as the outside takes to keep fit and keep the diet clean, it's much more challenging keeping the inside "clean." Great reminder, man! God bless as you continue developing both your body and spirit.
Thank you! I am trying! Hopefully I already make him happy, but I seriously can't wait to see his face when I walk down that aisle! You're doing great at adding lean mass! It's not always easy - just like losing that stubborn fat. Keep up the good work!
not fair, you have an unfair advantage...you are in medical school!! just kidding, dude. that's a nice bench you got. check out westside for a bit to get those numbers up.
