My Workout Philosophy View My Full Workout Program

My Workout Program

Currently doing Rippetoe's Starting Strength Program. Consist of basic lifts.

Workout A
Squats: 3x5
Bench Press: 3x5
Deadlifts: 1x5

Workout B
Squats: 3x5
Standing Overhead Press: 3x5
Power Cleans: 5x3

Each workout goes up at least 5lbs in weight as long as the reps for every set are completed. Alternate workouts on non consecutive days: Mon, Wed, and Fri.

Week 1
Mon: A
Wed: B
Fri: A

Week 2
Mon: B
Wed: A
Fri: B

Pretty simple routine at gaining strength.

DJDpsyple I got HOOAH 1 day and did my posted chest workout(just morning) & did pushups on the hour. Kept cramping so dropped to every 2hrs after lunch. Chest felt swole all day, & SORE THE NEXT!! Check my workout section, try the morning chest workout, but DTP will definitely do the trick! Mar 9, 2011 3:13am

trufans When I had pain, Dr. told me also to take time off, and use ice and advil for a few days to a week. Seemed to help. Resting it is the key though. Sep 1, 2010 12:57pm
