I have been casually working out for the last couple of years, even as a personal trainer I just worked out to maintain weight and increase my flexibility. And just one day, not too long ago, I took a long look in the mirror. And I realized I didn't love the way I look, so now I want my outsides to match how I feel inside. So I take it day by day and I work out for a purpose.
Why I Love It:
What isn't there to love, I love proving people wrong that I CAN do it or I CAN lift this. I love that burn even though sometimes it can be too much. I love the feeling when you finally finished your work out and feel that you have accomplished what you came there to do. And of course I love the results of all that labor of love.
How I Stay Motivated:
Look in the mirror, read motivating books and magazines. My workout partners and once I get to my goal of 18% body fat I'm going to get my head shots done and start fitness modeling.
I want to look as beautiful as I feel now on the inside. I went through a real rough patch and now I feel that this is the time for me to make myself the best person I can be.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 7 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
20%

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped or hurt your relationship?
Well, He is a personal trainer as well, so no it's only helped our relationship. We have been working together for years. And a few months ago, I finally agreed to go out with him on a date. I had the best time, I have never laughed that hard before and we didn't run out of things to say (we still don't). And he is obsessed with the Body Bugg program and he harps on me for what I eat that's not "clean" and he reminds to always keep track of my eating by logging in my food. And when we work out he pushes me to my limit and then some because he knows as well as I do that I can do more. I am very humbled by his work ethic and his dedication, and I just hope it's starts to rub off on me! :)Well, He is a personal trainer as well, so no it's only helped our relationship. Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
it was dumb, I was lifting a straight bar and I was doing a bicep curl and I just tweaked my wrist because I let my four and fifth digit grip loose. I wore my brace and I took off a week for recovery for push muscle groups only, I still did a lil bit here and there. it was dumb, I was lifting a straight bar and I was doing a bicep curl and I just tweaked my wrist because I let my four and fifth digit grip loose.
