I FIRST GOT INTO LIFTING WHEN I WAS 16. I STARTED TO NOTICE A BIG INTEREST IN MY FAMILY AND FITNESS. I WAS ALWAYS OVER WEIGHT AND NEVER WAS ENCOURAGED TO TAKE ON HARDCORE SPORT, SO I FIGURED ID MAKE A BIG CHANGE. I FIRST GOT A ROUTINE AND DIET FROM MY COUSIN BOBBY WHO WAS A COMPETITIVE BODYBUILDER. WITH THE HELP AND KNOWLEDGE FROM HIM I STARTED WITH A VERY HIGH PROTEIN DIET, LOW CARBS,(LITTLE TO NON). I WAS 195LBS AGED 16. WITH RUNNING MON WED FRIDAY DIET AND TRAINING EVERY OTHER DAY IN 8 MONTHS LOST A WHOPPING 60 POUNDS PURE FAT!! OF COURSE SOME MUSCLE I HAD NO IDEA I HAD. WITH ALL THE RIGHT MOVES COMING INTO PLAY I TOOK ON A LIFE CHANGING AND MIND ALTERING LIFE STYLE!! ONE I NEVER THOUGHT ID EVER HAD AND THANK GOD I CONTINUED MY SELF MOTIVATING PATH.
Why I Love It:
I LOVE THE SPORT OF BODY BUILDING BECAUSE OF THE ART FORM BEHIND IT. SCULPTING MYSELF INTO A NEW ME IS ALWAYS IMPRESSIVE TO MY EYES. SOMETIMES THERE ARE SOME WEAK POINTS, BUT GAINING AND GROWING FROM WHERE IM LACKING IS ALWAYS A REWARDING EXPERIENCE DIFFERENT FROM PAST IMAGES.
How I Stay Motivated:
THE BEST WAY I STAY MOTIVATED IS SIMPLY BUYING A 7 DOLLAR MUSCULAR DEVELOP MAGAZINE (EVEN THOUGH I SEE THE SAME BODYBUILDERS PHOTOS REPEATED EACH MONTH)OR MY FAVORITE... REPS MAG. NEW ROUTINES/EXERCISE ALWAYS EXCITE MY LIFTING. DIETING IS NEVER ALWAYS FUN BUT MAKING NEW CUISINES UP IS FUN TOO. I JUST GOT MYSELF SOME NEW GYM KICKS SO I THINK I DID MYSELF IN FOR A LITTLE BIT. HAHA
BB Accomplishments:
MY MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS ARE INSANE. FROM GOING TO 195 THE FAT KID TO 135 LBS SKIN AND BONES TO GROWING INTO WHO I AM NOW IS ASTONISHING TO ME. BENCHING 135 WAS NEVER COOL IN MY EYES NOW BENCHING NUMBERS NEAR 300 IS PERFECT FOR MY LIMIT RIGHT NOW, BUT I CANT FOOL MYSELF!! THERE IS ALWAYS TIME FOR NEW AND BIGGER GAINS! IF I LACK SOMETHING YOU BET YOUR ASS ILL BE SWEEPING IT UP.
