Man I have been lifting for as long as I can remember- but HEAVILY into it for the last couple years- broke through major physical and mental boundries during this time.
Why I Love It:
Its a high I cant duplicate anywhere else. It overflows into every aspect of my life-
How I Stay Motivated:
By constantly re-evaluating my goals and pushing myself to reach new limits I was told would never be possible for me.
BB Accomplishments:
Overcoming degenerative disc disease and hip displasia- bearing through the initial pain to reach my goals and become more pain-free. Coming out of surgery from a double fusion in my spine in 99 the doctors said to me..."You will never run, lift heavy weights or do strenous activity for the rest of your life, AND you can expect further surgeries to fuse more discs in the next 3-8 years.." NO WAY!!!!! So here I am.... My doctors are stumped.

In relationships you don't strive to look at each other- but in the same direction together.
I'm doing good. Doing these OTA's. The weather has been real hot, so that helps with the conditioning on the field. I'm still trying to gain about 5 to 10lbs too.
Hey, Maria. Hope you're feeling good and having a terrific week. U look sensational and beautiful. Don't throw in the towel and stay motivated...you are inspiring.
1st heavy weight...I was the only one.LOL..And there was one light weight who won the overall...She was a little dryer but no muscle mass what so ever...Little disappointed in that..BUT Its going to make me stricter this week with diet, and dehydrateing..How do you feel?
Maria, you look great. Not many women walk around at 6 ft tall, and many who do, dont wear it well. Clearly you set the standard for tall women. I have three female cousins who are between 5'10 and 6'. I love them to pieces, but they have the build of a sumo wrestler. Your avatar photo is indescribable.
Congratulations.
Awesome...Its Funny My brother will be there too! The more support the better. Im at 178 now, feeling tight...looking hard...Much better than last year. Getting ready for show this sat. So lets see if what i do is right. And than Ill stick with it for next week. Cant wait to see ya
