How I Started:
I've been lifting off/on for about 3 years. Nothing too serious....until now. Dislocated my right shoulder 5 years ago, so I couldn't play basketball or x-country running anymore. Started lifting to strengthen shoulder. Started truly getting serious this past summer (2006).
Why I Love It:
I like the way I look. I love feeling the burn the next day, telling me I had a good pump in the gym. I love how my fiance comments. I love how she sort-of "parades" me in front of her friends (an added plus, IMHO).
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking at pics of other fellow BBers and saying "DAMN, I wanna look like THAT!"
BB Accomplishments:
Strengthening my shoulder to where it doesn't bother me while lifting. Still working on basketball......but not a priority.

GOD, I've got the attention span of a.............hey look, a dime!!!
This was taken when I finally decided to try my first cut. I was ~ 17% bf (calipers) and 203 lbs. This marked my first step towards a serious bodybuilding mentality.
This was taken yesterday to see how my first cut went. I went from 203 lbs down to 181.5 lbs (17% -> 10.6% bf). I didn't realize this much change occurred until I compared the photos.
Thank you. Bad week but will make up for it this week. Gotta get back on track. Paper will be finished tonight and clinicals should be done this week :),frees up time to get my workouts in and cook that damn food :).
