Finally a 1st place finish. Everything started late as usual. Not as many competitors as I had expected. Overall everything was ok, except for the overall figure winner. I'm not discrediting the overall winner, however, I have to wonder how much she "paid" off the judges. Look at the final pictures, you be the judge. |

I don't understand how judging works. The scorecards had me at 2nd and yet I finished 3rd. NPC is losing credibility with the inaccuracy and questionable judging panel. I am not discouraged though. Afterall everyone knows LA is their own little world. |

One word: Circus. There were an incredible 205 competitors at this show and most if not all brought their "A" game. Though I did not place in the top 10, I am proud of top 20. Heck, I beat somebody. But I am just more motivated to morph my shape again and kick more a$$. |

Judging was (in my opinion) questionable this time around. Perhaps it was because I'm new to So.Cal. Either way, no hard feelings because I know what I need to do to improve. |

It went pretty well this time around. Dieting seemed easier this time around compared to my first show. Water depletion is always difficult. Though I was a bit disappointed for not winning my class after getting first call outs, I\'m not too heart broken because I know what I need to improve on for my next show on May 26. |

It was wonderful! I only dieted approximately 4-5 weeks and still got 2nd place. I know I am capable of doing better next time so that is what I am aiming for. The show was perfect for a newbie like myself. Not too many competitors and all the ladies were very pleasant. |
