When I Started:
Sep, 2006
How I Started:
I was always the fat kid everyone bullied around, the one that desperatly tried to get out of gym class to try not to get humiliated and embabarrassed. Couldn't keep up with my soccer team mates as well, I tried a lot of things to deal with my weight problem, diets of all sorts, Until one day I tagged along to the gym with friend. I was hooked from the first day: I started like an excited fool: training for hours a day, excessive cardio but eventually got wiser and my dedicated myself to a real "bodybuilding" lifestyle (This was back in 2004)
Why I Love It:
I gives my a feeling of accomplishement, it makes my raise above my own imaginated plateaus, it makes my stronger: physicly, emotionally and mentally; It teaches my that I can withstand life's challenges and even overcome the greatest misfortunes.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated knowing that no matter the setbacks in the end I'll reach my true potential (as a bodybuilder and as an person)
The journey itself far exceeds it's destination (my motto)
BB Accomplishments:
In some way I thank my life to the perseverance and discipline I acquired while pursuing my true physical potential. Late 2005 I was involved in a car accident, and ended up in a coma. Suffering from a spinal injury It was uncertain if I would be able to walk let alone train again, on top off that I also ended up depressed having lost my girlfriend in the car accident. But after a year of revalidation and strungle going from hospital to hospital, even being spend some time therapy. But in the end it was Bodybuilding that got my back on my feet. I stepped foot in the gym again in september 2006 (weighing a mere 132 lbs compared to my 200 lbs at 8% in august 2005)
