When I Started:
Nov, 2006
How I Started:
I wanted to get rid of the fat that I had built up through a lazy childhood and improper eating, and put on some muscle. I went from there.
Why I Love It:
Working out has no downside, as long as you aren't stupid. I love it because I get to listen to music, work hard on myself, and it's very stress relieving. I love the feeling of power.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by looking at myself in the mirror...cause once I look, I know that I don't want to loose what I have worked so hard to get! People respect me more...my friends respect me more. I get a lot of automatic respect because of my body.
Compliments keep me motivated!
MADE PROGRESS! Finally...I kinda made a hybrid program of FST-7 and P/RR/S. It worked wonders. Stats updated!
Goal (Long):
Growing up I was pretty weak and fat. I would eat a snack after school, my three meals a day, dessert, and a bowl of chips everynight before I went to bed. Over time...the weight added up as I became more and more ashamed when my waist grew to 36 in grade 7 and 8, when it should've been 26 to 30 tops. During a summer of football after grade 8, I got whipped into shape. I dropped a lot of weight and people were starting to compliment. I was still fat...so I would randomly workout for about a month period of time...with no knowledge of what I was doing. Eventually, getting sick and tired of quitting and remaining as the same chubby kid, I started working out at the start of grade 11. Throughout grade 11 and some of grade 12, I only did chest workouts, and abs! This is partially why my chest is one of my dominant bodyparts. I was also somewhat anorexic for a year or two. Luckily the working out kept me from getting too thin and I still packed on some size. Craving some more mass...I bought a Men's Health mag and since then I have put my bench press from 125 to about 270, I stopped benching so I could equal out my body more! Now I am much more serious and attacking every muscle group appropriately! Nobody calls me the fat kid anymore...

What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
I don't even know what it was...I just jumped back into lifting after a break and went to heavy. The next day my left pec was like...swollen or something. It also hurt to touch. I took a week off of training as soon as I saw it...but I went back into training about a week later as it healed...and yes I went in lighter.I don't even know what it was...I just jumped back into lifting after a break and went to heavy. Hey Blake, what is up! I have been working hard lately....trying to make sure my next progress pics actually show progress and improvement. What have you been up to lately..how is training going...how is life?
i am doing pretty well... training has been good and my back is completely better... it turned out to be a pulled muscle and ulcer... YUCK. how've you been? how's your training going?
well if you look at my last blog thats a typical leg work for me. If you are looking for something more extreme, take a look at my milos movie. by far the toughest leg workout i've ever done.
Lol..no i haven't had to do that one yet, but I am ready if the time comes :) I just saw the new meet the spartans movie...it was actually pretty funny at some parts. I hope you are having a great weekend!
:) How are you doing Blake? I hope things are going well! Wedding plans are going great, we finally were able to find the right place and it is beautiful! I will put a picture of us up as soon as we get our engagement pictures taken but if you wanted to see a pic of him before that you can go to his profile page. His bodybuilding. com name is Fisher33 :)
thanks for the add man, legs are my favorite to train. i agree that too many guys look dumb cause they look like a keg walking around on toothpicks. good luck with your goals
Glad to hear that your training is going well. My back is worse than ever. I went to work and got sent home this morning. I went to a chiropractor but I think it just made things worse. I'm about to go ice it for a bit. Thanks for the concern. Hope you have a great workout today!
Training is going ok. My back is really bothering me, but I think it is because I am getting sick and I need to get more sleep (5-6 hours a night just isn't cutting it anymore). I've been working out pretty hard lately though. What about you?
