Goal (Long):
I've always struggled with my weight and though i have developed healthier and nutritional options for myself, i have never quite been able to stick to a more active lifestyle. I am 5'4.5 and would like to be Arms: 11 Bust: 35 waist: 26 Hips: 36 thighs: 21 calves: 13 . I would like to reach and maintain myself at 128 lbs (after having also added some lean muscle mass).

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
I do an excersize DVD so i follow the reps per set that they tell me to. On off days, i do 2 sets of 15 of any strength training or calisthenics.
I started this challenge motivated and though i have always dreaded cardio, i liked lifting weights. So due to cold weather i couldn't go jogging here in Philadelphia, so i opted for doing cardio/strength training interval Dvd's. By far the most challenging is the 1 hr long jari Love Get...
so how is all the stuff going for you? how are you keeping motivated? gotta say that the best motivation for me was keeping all my skinny jeans out for me to see and forcing myself to try on every single pair. then i get all excited to pull out on to put in my closet cuz they fit!

My secret? I hit the gym 6 days a week doing weight training for 35-40 minutes on my whole body then I do cardio 30 mintes afterwards. Coconuts are great sugar busters, if you get the urge to eat sweet consider the coconut! Drink lots of water, and Oolong or Jasmine tea. Good Luck on reaching your goals,

The biggest way to get rid of the love handles is eating clean 90% of the time and eating every 3 hours for 5-6 meals. Lifting heavy is another key element. It will happen for you if you just do that.

I do HIIT 7 days a week on the elliptical. You basically change your speed and resistance throughout the workout. I don't have a system for how I do it. I basically want to burn 600 calories in under 30 minutes, so however I can get it done, I do it. So far I've lost 9 pounds since Jan 1st.
Many women have the same problem, including myself. Everyone says you can't spot train, which I agree on, but just continue to push yourself harder on leg day. Remember to continue to change up what you do every few weeks as well so your body doesn't get used to the monotiny. Sorry I couldn't help more. Good Luck!!
