When I Started:
Dec, 2008
How I Started:
Took a couple of beginner weight lifting classes back when I was in college. Came out to California and after years of procrastinating, finally joined a gym. I rarely went because I always saw myself as the scrawny guy in the gym who struggles with the 20lb dumbbells. Now I'm here, almost 13 years later, still with no progress and kinda pissed. Now I'm ready to go full force.
Why I Love It:
It relieves a lot of stress and it makes me feel like I'm doing something positive for myself.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing other guys in the shape that I want to be in.
BB Accomplishments:
None so far, but give me time.

Goal (Long):
I want to be able to take my shirt off in public without being embarrassed this Summer. I want to wear sleeveless shirts and not look like a freak of nature because my shoulders are too scrawny to fill the holes.
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 30 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
7%

So it's been a month now since I've been hitting the gym. Can't say that I haven't had my share of involuntary obstacles try to get in my way either. From over training to non gym related injury and illness, it's all been thrown at me. I must say though that I haven't given up. I'm gonna...
Progress takes time bro. Remember, it's a lifestyle- not something you earn overnight. Keep up the hard work, eat right, train hard... You will see results before you know it and then you'll just take off with it!
my exact training style and schedule is already on here. its listed exactly as i perform it under the questions section on my profile page. People would be suprised how little i am actually lifting weight, i am only in the gym about 30-40 minutes, all out intensity, 6 days per week. For a contest i will do tons of cardio though (up to an hour and a half)
Hey! I'm sorry about the injury. It's good that it's not keeping you from the gym. I'm participating in a fast with my church. It will be done this coming Thursday. I'm mainly doing body weight exercises from home this week. When the fast is over then it's time to go to work.
