Broad Run High Attended 2000 to 2003 Ashburn, Virginia United States
When I Started:
Feb, 2007
How I Started:
Was significantly overweight pretty much my entire life, but shortly after graduating from college I had a change of heart after a surgery I had to go through. After that I started dieting and in general taking care of myself and was able to drop from 260 to about 190 in roughly a years time. At that point I decided I wanted to start bulking up and really start looking the way I've always wanted to so I started going to the gym. After months and months of going to the gym without much in the way of results finally started researching into what it takes to Body Build, since then my diet has changed drastically and the gym has become as much an important part of my life as my career.
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling of accomplishment I feel every time I advance in a lift.
I love the mental effect it has on me, has really helped me keep a positive outlook on life in general.
I love every single time I see an old friend the look of amazement that crosses their face.
The list can go on and on really.
How I Stay Motivated:
I keep an old picture of me on my mirror so I'll see a before and after shot every single morning I wake up. And I try to socialize with as many people as I can at the gym, feels like I'm going to hang out with friends every time I go then. =)
BB Accomplishments:
Don't have many accomplishments yet to brag about, but my greatest feet so far has to be dropping 70lbs of fat and gaining 30lbs of muscle.
