Occupation:
BodyBuilding.com Writer,Trainer,HPSBio/Adult Fitness Student, MetalHead\m/(>.<)\m/ Screamer & Mama
I was a teen mom at 16, ended up out of shape, dirt-poor and eating very unhealthy; After my second child was born when I was 23, I was sick of being lazy and complaining about my body ~ initially I lost 30 lbs, and was still 10-15 lbs overweight, wanting to shed that last bit of body fat, and ended up losing 25 lbs. of fat, gaining 15 lbs of lean muscle and became addicted to weight lifting, body building and eating clean. Now I love my body
Why I Love It:
I found out I am naturally very strong, and this led to an addiction to weight lifting; I love the way my body responds, changes and looks when I eat clean, and train hard. I will never be a size 2, even dieted down for a show, I am a solid size 4; so I do with what I have as the size 0's and 2's are everywhere!
How I Stay Motivated:
I love it when people meet my son and think he's my brother or friend, and their jaws drop when they find out he is my child!I also have a daughter..Fitness works people! I remember how hard it was to initially lose the weight, and gain the muscle, and try not to backslide too far even though I LOVE food and I LOVE to cook; My job as a trainer and a mom keeps me on task, setting a good example and staying strong for my clients and my two kids (especially my girl) is important to me, since I didn't have these good influences..not to mention my husband makes me feel beautiful constantly ;)
BB Accomplishments:
SUCCESSFULLY maintaining a significant weight loss/muscle gain since I was 23, becoming a certified trainer, certified group ex leader and wellness coach..
Competing in FIVE NPC Figure comps, and qualified for junior nationals!!! Also, the privilege of writing articles for BodyBuilding.com and others (but is there really any other?)Bodybuilding.com has really helped me grow and flourish as a trainer, trainee, and competitor in the last three years!

...Keep rocking the metal and make our own... Gain some muscle and keep my bod rock-hard all winter, kick some girl ass in Roller Derby this winter, newbie MMA, and a pin-up model (who knew?)....
Goal (Long):
To keep my muscles and gain a few more this off-season; to stay strong to make it on the Denver Roller Dolls team; To try my hand at submission fighting and let out my violent side, and wow look ma...look hot for pin-up modeling (totally new to me) ~ all of this requires a super-tight diet and lifting weight!
Hey Girl! How's prep going for Nationals? Just read your blog on Wendy's...people are such jealous pigs! And to gawk in front of your children..sheesh! Sometimes I'm glad I'm not in the States. People in Europe are a little bit more secretive about it! Best of Luck to You, I know you will do great! :)
Hey chica! You're not baggin out on me for Team U are ya? I was sad when I saw your post at Souixcountry.
If you made other arrangements, just let me know cuz I've had you down for months now :(. I'll still have love for ya either way!
Hi, I need to find a couple competition suits, and I really like yours! Would you mind telling me who you went through to get it?? What an awesome feeling you must have had holding on to those trophy's! (=
Hi, Jaime. Looking good in the mile high city. The thinner air must help make you thinner too, and gorgeous, by the looks of it. Now I need a deep breath.
