When I Started:
How I Started:
I started lifting in high school, needed to be stronger for football. After that I pretty much stopped lifting. In 2006, I decided to take up the sport of power lifting. I started training and getting stronger only to suffer a shoulder injury. I lost my drive and focus after that and stopped lifting. I also shot up to a tubby 300lbs.
In April of 2007, I went to the doctor for a physical so I could take a job working with the Army and USMC in Iraq. My blood work came back with my liver enzymes being jacked up. I told myself I had to get healthy again. It is now July 2007, I'm in Iraq (been here about 4 weeks) and it's time to get healthy....
Why I Love It:
It's me time. It's the only time that I take out of my life to focus solely on me, my wants and my needs.
To lift 5 times my body weight in "The Big 3" before 08Jun08 (when I am supposed to leave Iraq).
Goal (Long):
Right now I am a FAT 280lbs. By the time I get home from Iraq (20Jul08) I would like to be a strong 220lbs. I know that I will not be 'shredded' or anything (way to much extra skin and all that). I would like to compete in my first power lifting contest sometime late 2008.

I want to LOSE 60 lb

i decided that since it has been 3 days since i trained, and i wasnt exactly happy with my last delt session, i decided to hit them again and start the week from day one.

You seem to be makeing some good progress and are in about the same situation I am concerning starting space. Bilding the strength is the easy part...its the cutting down on the food and upping the cardio that is hard as hell. Good luck!!
training is going good, just got back from the gym. The wife hits her gym after droppin' of the kid at school, then my turn. Got a elbow wrap for my elbow, it's helping ... gotta ice it too! How's your end going?

Doing great on the Animal Pak & Flex, can really tell a difference when your not using them. Also that SuperPump250 is freakin crazy! Got two others over here on that stuff now!
