"To be lean and healthy to look in the mirror one morning and be happy with the body I have built. To be able to play, wrestle, and enjoy everything my children offer."
I have always purchased muscle magazines and have been a long time subscriber to IronMan. I have been on many diets and yoyoed many times. The birth of our second child is what started the fire under my ass. I decided right then that I wanted to see her through life.
I started at a whopping 320 lbs with some wild ideas on how to lose the weight. At first I just cut the soda and french fries out of my diet. I instantly dropped 10-15 lbs. Then started the research I found out about low GI spiking foods and how that changes your bodies habits. I then hired a Nutrition expert and that changed everything. I still have a long ways to go and I recent injured my rotator cuff. I will reach my goal because not is not an option.
Why I Love It:
Just look at the classic Arnold pictures do you need another reason?
How I Stay Motivated:
Well my wife is 5'4 and is maybe has 5% more fat then Jamie Eason so she is hot. She gets hit on all the time and hell that's motivation and on top of that I have to see how my two crazy kids are going to turn out.

Never again will I see this version of me I will not let this happen again. I have too much to live for and have not done enough to let myself go.
Not bad down to a 36-38 inch pants but in two weeks I will be in a 34. Cardio moving up to 1.5 hrs per day. :-)

Goal (Long):
I am currently 33 years old and was once over 300 lbs. I see changes everyday in my body I know I can reach my goals through mind, training, and diet. Consistency is key and my fathers death took me off track but with his help in spirit I am back on the road and working hard to meet my goals. He is proud of me I know it I feel it.
This strange urge to change my blog again is only being highlighted by the fact that I have not posted a new blog in sometime. I asked myself "Why do I want to change it again?" The answer is fairly simple I don't think I have found the right mix of info, humor, and personal experience...
thanks! my avi is from may, i've been tanning since so now i've got some color...it makes everything look better! when i actually do compete, i'll use the protan...so then i'll really be dark :)
Not soon enough! lol Hopefully before the end of summer...paperwork for kids needs to be cleared first. And it was definatly time to bring back the blond locks! lol How are you doin??
Thats awesome!! W2G!!! I will just go to 1000 and then stop and probably will not lift nearly that heavy ever again...this is strictly for a bet! I dont need my thighs any bigger than they are! lmao
Lol I added that one as a challenge to Docdru...since I have to do the regular pull ups and since he can do like 100 of them...it was only far to send him a challenge!!
Awe, thanks for stopping by, Big James. My back needs some strength. I hurt it on the standing angled calf machine w/ 120#, which shouldn't have happened. Perhaps some back extensions are in order. How are you?
It really had caught my attention. I use to do portrait pictures a long time ago. It was just something..... the look upon your face or... i am not sure but it is a "great" picture. Take care man.
I realize that you don't know but i stumbled upon your pic and i thought " wow! what an awesome pic!" Black and white does you justice! Have a great weekend!
