I started because I wanted to build muscle. So I quit smoking 1/31/06 and have been dedicated to working out since.
Why I Love It:
I love it because it makes me feel good about myself, my clothes fit better, and I enjoy the body changes.
Plus my wife likes it!
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated because I see results, and the more results I see the harder I push myself.
Plus you all motivate me with your success stories and transformations!
BB Accomplishments:
I guess the major accomplishment is that I have stuck with it and have made progress in almost every body part.

This is what I looked like before I started working out.
My right bicep is almost completely healed and I've been gaining strength over the last few weeks.
I've been giving my chest some extra work lately because it seems a little lacking.
It all takes time I suppose. :)
I would like to be around 220lbs with a 6 pack. But right now I have some fat around my midsection that I need to lose due to the amount of food required for bulking.
I recently purchased a treadmill to help with the cardio aspect of my training so I'm looking forward to seeing this fat burn off.
What supplements do you take immediately before your workout? Why?
I take creatine before my workouts to ensure that I have creatine in my bloodstream in case the creatine stores in my muscles are depleted during the workout.

Do you currently have a workout partner?
No

What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?
If they do it once in awhile it's no big deal, but if they are lifting 5lbs and still grunting then they should workout at home.
Yep, my legs are sore so it's safe to say that they got a good workout yesterday. I've been trying to really hit them lately. I want a bigger lower body so it can support a bigger upper body.
Anyway, I start my new split routine tomorrow and I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes. ...
Thanks for both comments man. I'm actually working on the smile thing. Its funny because my real smile is pretty awesome so you can tell when I'm faking it.
Hey! It's people like you that work your butt off for your goals that rejuvinate my motivation! The quitting smoking thing is tough but pretty soon you won't even remember that you ever did it in the first place... I guarantee it!
sounds great man, good to hear everythings healing the way it should.. ya i hear you on the stat thing, i see guys half my size with their bench reading 315 and what not lol...kinda erks me sometimes i dont understand how lying on their stats can make them feel any better..but any way keep me posted with progress im nothin but support here

Legs coming good check out my blog I just started doing weightsand some plyo stuff. Feels good but my legs are so soar from the work outs. I can hardly walk up stairs or sit down. That's a new pic, looking leaner I thought you were bulking.
Thank you...well, now that many of my friends here at bb wants to see my progress pix...well..I guess I'm gonna' have to provide them what they want..hee hee.. Hope all is well.
