My Workout Philosophy View My Full Workout Program

Shoulders, Triceps, HIIT and Planking 17.09.12

Exercise 1: Standing Milatary Press

26kg x15/ x15/ x12/ 24kg x12/ x12 with rest/pause 20 secs x4 more reps on last set to failure

Exercise 2: Cable up right row (using a long bar and both stacks)

91kg x 15/ x14/ x13/ 83kgx15 x14 with a rest/ pause 20 secs x6 more reps on last set to failure

Exercise 3: Seated Arnolds

22kg x15/ x15/ x12/ 20kg x 12/ x12 with a rest/pause 20 secs x5 more reps on last set to failure

Exercise 4: Front Delt Raises (single arm):

20kg x15/ x 15/ x15/ 24kg x 12/ x12 with a rest pause 20 secs x4 more reps on last set to failure

VillainChien Yo. Well, after being sick last week and not eating for a day, I dropped almost 10 lbs. I've been eating my weight back up ever since. But I'm sick of the comments. ;-) Anyway, I've rolled back my training to just 30-45 minutes each session, doing them 5 days a week instead of the all out intense infrequent sessions. Plus I'm doing HIIT for cardio to keep fat down. You? What's your latest scheme? ViCh Jan 30, 2013 9:34am

VillainChien Yo. You're right. Genetics or not, you are pure heart and commitment. Now that I'm back from vacation, I'm going to do the same. I'm finally getting my leg mass where I want it to be, so I'm squatting like a maniac to stimulate some growth. I would love to find a way to be 190 lbs at 10% body fat. VillainChien Shoulders? That sucks. I have severe angles in my achromia (ends of the collar bones). 10 years ago I got impingements where the joints got squeezed by and pinched the tendons. After a few months of physical therapy, I opened up the joints and I still do the exercises. Oh, but they still let me train while going through therapy. But just high reps, and only body weight. But glad to hear you're doing better. Your physique cannot be lost, man. ;-) Your genetics are too good. ViCh Oct 24, 2012 2:21am

stachedwalker sounds like you need to visit the physio now .... Listen the old man :), things do take longer to heal as you get older .. even if you are still a youngster!! LOL. You've kicked butt too much getting to where you are to let injuries unduly set you back. Oct 23, 2012 6:26pm

VillainChien Hey. Just saw that you injured yourself after having been sick for a spell. Related? Were you doing something at home or had your gym re-opened. At any rate, I'm sorry to hear about it, man. I HATE being sick and/or injured. And yeah, thanks for the reminder about the rotator cuff exercises. They are a must. Gotta keep those joints strong.
