I had been working out a couple of times before but I never lasted due to time restraints (mostly study and work travel).
Why I Love It:
The workout makes me feel tired but satisfied and the feeling of some muscle soreness keeps reminding me of that satisfaction...
How I Stay Motivated:
The mirror, measurements, looking at other people's accomplishments and the desire to get there too some day.
BB Accomplishments:
Recovering after chemo and surgery from being unable to open a bottle of water (I literally had to ask my wife) to lifting decent weights again. My body fat has gone down from almost 30% to about 19% and continues to go down as I keep working out. Being 40 I now want to see how far I can still push my body.
After 7 months of struggling with a shoulder injury, a gym that closed (sold and moved) and harassed us about payments we didn't owe them, family visits and personal issues, I'm finally back in the groove. I started cleaning up my diet which had deteriorated badly. As a result I had regained...
