When I Started:
1983
How I Started:
In 1983, an older cousin introduced me to weight-training. I was hooked like Michael Jackson at a Boy Scout convention!
Why I Love It:
It sets people aside from the rest of society. It's funny when you look into someone's eyes who's looking at you and you see the instant respect! That alone makes each rep worth it.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have an inner belief that I can improve every year. The older I get, the better I get.
BB Accomplishments:
Accomplishments are not about how many trophies you can get. It's about consistency and self-improvement. If you look at my pictures, you can see that I've maintained 'contest shape' from the first picture to the last. To me, that's an accomplishment. Live the Life!!!
Whatever your weak parts are, you should train them on Mondays. Currently, I'm training hamstrings and calves on Mondays (thanks to FLEX magazine). With that being said, I take off Sundays to be mentally and physically fresh for the week's workouts. Tuesday is chest and tri's. Wednesday...
no doubt man. he's definitely a man that proves that excersice and eating right brings a longer life. as for myself, i'm taking things one day at a time and having fun with this along the way. thanks for the good words. any shows for yourself coming up?
No doubt bruh. Like my motto on here says, "Building a beast one rep at a time". After attending the Nationals in Atl and talking with a lot of the competitors, I got a good perspective and better appreciation for the sport. And it gave me a huge jump start to my own training.
Wassup and Happy New year to you! That saying you have: "Bodybuilding is a marathon and not a sprint" definitely hit home. Enjoyed reading the page and continued success in the sport.
Yes, I did both shows. East coast--how poorly ran was that? right? I have only been to the LA fitness in cherry hill and I train at the mount laurel location. What's next for you?
