How I Started:
I weighed nearly 220 pounds at the end of July 2006. I decided then and there to become fitter and eat healthier. I lost 65 pounds and I am now trying to gain muscle back on to my 160 pound frame.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because not only is it great to see results in the mirror but the mental edge received from exercise will help you to get through nearly anything. The gym is one of the few places that I can escape and relieve all of my stress and anxiety.
Each day starts with morning cardio, either running, swimming, or jump rope and boxing. This is followed by an afternoon weight lifting session in which I generally work one muscle group each day, super-setting everything.
