My Workout Philosophy View My Full Workout Program

Training 7 days a week and 365 days a year

I do not like taking “rest days”, so I find a way to work out every day while avoiding overtraining. My current workout routine repeats itself every 6 days and I seldom do the same exercise twice throughout that period. I rotate each afternoon or evening between push, pull, and abdominal and leg exercises, while putting emphasis on a different muscle group each time. For example:

Day 1 –Push exercises for triceps (e.g. triceps press, dips)

Day 2 – Pull exercises for biceps (e.g. curls)

Day 3 – Ab and Leg exercises (e.g. hanging leg lifts) (e.g. calf rasies, leg curls)

Day 4 – Push exercises for chest/shoulders (e.g. bench press)

Day 5 – Pull exercises for back (e.g. pull-ups, rows)

Day 6 – Ab and Leg exercises (e.g. sit-ups, crunches) (e.g. squats, leg extensions)

BetterThanLife Warm weather is wonderful! I've enjoyed many lengthy bike rides lately. The only indoor aerobics I'll ever do takes place in a hockey rink.

DeutschAmerika I agree, im just hoping my 6 pack will be there at 8%bf. After all the sports i played should help with that. Considering i see two of my abs at 14%bf. Spartan2118 Yeah, most people always ask me how I went from 6'0 160 kid when i was 16 to the 6'4" 200 lbs guy I am now, I've really only used creatine, protein, occasionally a nitric oxide supplement, and multivitamins, I just recently started using fish oil, and glucosamine due to a knee injury back in high school Jan 25, 2013 11:53pm

Spartan2118 See, that was another thing I was curious about. I've seen countless articles and things saying take a BCAA or Aminos in your diet however, BCAAs are the building blocks of protein, if you're getting 1-2grams of protein per body pound a day that should suffice. I haven't looked in to trutein I was using Myofusion, but then ran out and got a deal on some elite gourmet,but I'm not a big fan on how it taste. Jan 25, 2013 11:42pm

Spartan2118 My main thing is, I want to find supplements with everything I need, and not so much about price just because of the name. I've looked into the Muscle Pharm line and a lot of their products seem to be slightly more advanced with ingredients than that of some others, but before I start buying supplements again, I want to really get to know whats in it and if it will benefit me. My main goal is to add muscle of course and eventually drop body fat to anywhere between 4%-9%. Jan 25, 2013 11:13pm
