When I Started:
Aug, 2004
How I Started:
I was always active in sports and working out but never took either too serious. I got into running and working out more when I first started college. I decided to try body building to help in my recovery process from several eating disorders which I have been struggling with for 3 years now. I've been up and down... recently down for a period of about 6 months and am going to try to get back into the swing of things.
Why I Love It:
Gives me amazing energy and motivation. I love having a goal to work after and seeing progress is the best reward of all. Body building also helps me to take care of myself in all aspects..mind body spirit. Would'nt be anywhere without the Lord Jesus Christ though, our savior.
How I Stay Motivated:
Inspiring articles, pictures, reading, nutrition, God, this website!

Yo, little miss Benjay, how have you been? Any updates in your life? How are you holding together? Just wanted to pop by, it has been a while and I do miss the communication.
How goes your workouts? Are you still motivated to hit the gym?
You seem to be making good progress and I hope that you are able to keep up the fine work.
Benjay,
It's great you found God and you have conquered your demons. I'm reading a good book called the Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. It helped me with a lot of things. I think you'd like it. Well, you look great, so keep up the good work and keep your confidence up.
