I got started lifting because of one thing...football. I am a offensive and defensive linemen and your strength is one of the most important tools you have during a game. Its not just strength but also speed. I knew if I wanted to be anything in this sport I needed to get bigger, faster and stronger. And since college football has become a choice that just enhanced my wanting to get bigger though lifting.
Why I Love It:
I am the type of person who is your stereotypical offensive linemen. And with football I have come to the mindset of getting in the gridiron and just completely destroying the person I am going against. And all that rage, aggression, passion and pride that is built up really never goes away. Lifting provides me that source of venting during the off season in a way that is just going to benefit me.
How I Stay Motivated:
66-18, 33-0, 31-7, 33-0, 14-7, 21-14
3-6, 5-3, 3-6
just ask if you want to know bout those numbers...
BB Accomplishments:
Just staying a constant levels though the off season when time to lift is hard to find.
I have been lifting for football for a while now. Now that my playing days are over I want to get my body ready for rugby next year in college. That means getting it physically tough enough to take a beating every second of every match.
Weight Goal:
I want to GAIN 50 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
10%
Upcoming Contest:

What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Just have a set goal. Something that is always out of reach. When you get close to your goal, up the standerads more to make yourself push. Whatever you do, you have to ave the sense of hard work and pride. The shortcuts will just come back to hurt you in the end.Just have a set goal. Something that is always out of reach.
