When I Started:
Jul, 2008
How I Started:
I just looked at myself in the mirror one day and saw the changes that had happened since i quit working at the Airport 3 years ago. I'd put on 50 lbs, and gone from a size 36 to a 42. I knoq I need to lose weight, and putting on Muscle is the best way for long term goals.
Why I Love It:
I'm just getting started, but I love the way it makes me feel, knowing that I've spent my last hour bettering myself instead of sitting on the couch eating bon-bons.
How I Stay Motivated:
Havn't been at it long enough to need extra motivation.
BB Accomplishments:
None to date.

I want to drop 50 pounds and win the Alert Bay Weight loss Challenge.
Goal (Long):
All my life I've been larger, weighing as much as 310 lbs. when I was 19. I've always had yo-yo results with my weight loss programs, once getting as low as 230 before gaining it back and sitting at my average of 280.
I want to end the fluctuation and finally settle into a proper excercise and diet plan.
I'm starting off small, making simple changes that will pay off in the long run.
I've started measuring my portions, which is a big eye opener, as I would often have 3 portions in a bowl and scarf it all down thinking I was eating healthy.
I've started walking everyday, wearing a pedometer and recording my steps.
I'm going to be starting at the gym using the beginners lifting plan from M+F to get started.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 50 lb

20%

Totally got off the diet this weekend, as I live in a small town and we had our yearly big festival. Had a few to many beers, too few hours of sleep, and a few to many french fries. I didnt miss my workouts though, which is a big plus.

As a fellow Canadian as well as a fellow BC’er I would like nothing more than to see you achieve not only your fitness goals but also your fitness dreams.
I hope that this program helps you get where you want to go.
I was able to lose over 50 Lbs going from 36 to 10% bodyfat in just 12 weeks by following the 12-week Body for Life program. My wife (bodyspace: judimax) dropped from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 by also using the same 12 week Body for Life program. I have found that you get the best results by following a well-designed routine such as Body for Life. If you challenge yourself you will be amazed at the changes and how fast they happen. Let me know if you wish more info.
