How I Started:
Have always seen myself as an athletic outdoor person, but everything changed when I hit University. Stress, late nights, fast food and little sleep did me in. I gained a lot of weight in university, but more importantly I lost confidence. Now that that phase of my life is over, I want to get back to being confident and be the same person outside as I feel to be inside.
Why I Love It:
It's a great feeling. It makes me feel strong, confident, empowered. Nothing compares to the satisfying feeling of a great workout.
How I Stay Motivated:
That feeling of accomplishment I feel every time I walk out of the gym keeps me coming back the next day.

I am tired of feeling uncomfortable in my own skin and am taking control. My goal is to get back to the gym, like I do every summer, and stay there. Commit to long term goals. I would like to lower my body fat, lose weight and tone my body.

In November, I set a goal to lose 10lbs by Jan 1st, 2009. I'm really glad to say that I achieved that goal in the healthiest way possible. I made it a habit to get to the gym 5 times a week and I started watching what I eat and simply making smarter decisions. Now it's in the middle of April and...

Long time no see, at least it feels like its been a long time.
