270lbs is the Bizzz..Niss! I'm back to 250 and am aiming for about the same - 270lbs. I'm restricting the carb sources to brown rice, yam, oats and Quinoa so the road to 270 will be longer but more quality...Oh, and the protein is at around 300g per day...That's a given. What are your fav carb sources?

Hey. Training is good...I have to make sure the elbows don't act up too much, so the progress is slow and controlled. My last comp was in 2007. I am a big advocate of training consistent with core values and a driving force that forces you to dig deep inside yourself; Independent of ego. I enjoyed reading your profile. I agree with you philosophy. Too many guys and gals on this site that "workout" from a place of insecurity and self doubt. Peace.

Keep it up! Remember, the leanest guy on stage looks the biggest. Focus on diet, cardio and posing and you should do well. Focus on being big, and it's recipe for failure.

The best way to gain weight is to train consistently but more importantly, EAT! You should eat a meal on this schedule. Do that and you'll gain.

The best thing you can do for yourself is mix it up. Heavy is good but not all the time. Sometimes I will go as heavy as I can for 6 - 8 reps but only on 1 exercise. The rest is 12 - 20 reps. Make no mistake, this is 12 - 15 as heavy as I can handle. I'm not just screwing around at this rep range.

Thank you very much. I've been on a 2 month break from the riorous training to give myself a mental and physical rest. I want to take another couple months off but seing the article is giving me the itch to plug hard again. We'll see. These poor elbows won't heal themselves though.

Good work with your physique. Are you sure the glute pic is necessary though? You may want to rethink having it posted. Glutes on men - straight or otherwise only look cool if they're super ripped. Don't you agree?
