"My goal is to finally LOOK like I workout as hard as I actually do. See, I've ALWAYS worked out, lifted and done cardio, but because I didn't know about clean eating, I was sabatoging myself and got so discouraged. Then, I found bodybuilding!"

When I Started:
May, 2005
How I Started:
My little brother made a major transformation with his body through bodybuilding and totally motivated me helped me believe that I could do the same! (Love you Jeff, you ROCK!) and then I started reading Oxygen magazine and reading everything on bodybuilding.com. Before that, I thought I was destined to look a certain way because of my family's genetics. I don't think that anymore. I think you are what you eat and you are what you do. I may have to work harder than some others to get where I want to be, but that only makes it more sweet:)
Why I Love It:
It sets you apart from the crowd of moms that say "chasing after their kids" is a workout. WHATEVER! I also want to inspire others by becoming a success story on bodybuilding.com. I know I've been so inspired by those transformations and I'd love to do that for someone else.
How I Stay Motivated:
I want to look great for my hubby! Also, reading transformations of the week on bodybuilding.com, getting awesome advice from those of you on here that are already where I want to be, and seeing the changes in the mirror every week.
BB Accomplishments:
Starting to see my shoulders and arms build and my butt shrink and tighten and lift! I'm astonished at how clean eating and bodybuilding can reshape my body.

160 Pounds in this picture and about a size 14/16 jeans. Wish I had taken a picture of me at 176...ok, no I'm glad I didn't!
My goal is to finally LOOK like I workout as hard as I actually do. See, I've ALWAYS worked out, lifted and done cardio, but because I didn't know about clean eating, I was sabatoging myself and got so discouraged. Then, I found bodybuilding!
Goal (Long):
I have a goal to complete a personal transformation through personal discipline, clean eating, and intense workouts.
I also want to have my transformation featured in the women's weekly transformations on bodybuilding.com. That would be so cool, cause I've been inspired by so many of those women!
I am currently studying for my ACE personal training certification...mostly to educate MYSELF!
I would like to reduce my bodyfat down to 10-12% and work on my body's symmetry by bringing my lower body down to balance out my upper body. I need to trim and tone my legs and build up my shoulders and arms.
Short term goals include completing a 2-90 day programs back to back (called P90X) where I journal all my eating and push myself much harder physically and mentally than I am used to.
You work 2 bodyparts a day and do abs three times a week. I do plyometrics and yoga most every week. Then, I'm adding in TurboJam kickboxing workouts and my bike trainer for extra cardio about 4 times a week.
I think it will be fun, cause I LOVE it when people think I'm crazy! You have to BE CRAZY to get to where you want to be in this life. Am I right?
Trying to get back on here after a loooong break! Just started a new workout program w/ my neighbor and we're helping each other eat clean and stay accountable. Been 100% clean and journaling all week and it feels AWESOME! My goal is to get back into my cute jeans by Halloween! I...
I have a friend that wants to know the best way to get rid of her cellulite? she has three problem areas are legs, but and abs. she is willing do anything to get back into shape. what do I tell her?

Thanks, I like what you said about looking like you work out as hard as you do. Your progress pictures look good too, you can see it there how hard you work.
Thanks! It seems like I have a LONG way to go to really looking good but I'll do it! Thanks for the encouragement. I totally understand about what you said about "looking like you workout as hard as you do". My eating habits totally sabotage my working out. It's gotta change!
