This is before starting my first day of a 9-week weight training program. I've been fit in the past, but I was getting much too flabby. Can't wait to get more definition!
Finally dropping some bodyfat after a change in diet :)
What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Pulled muscles in both my upper calves and slightly pulled both hamstrings.
I'm still slightly injured. It's been about 3 weeks now.
Im doing some light rehab exercises to help work the muscles and not strain them. I also stopped running on the treadmill and started doing some various other cardio exercises.Pulled muscles in both my upper calves and slightly pulled both hamstrings.

What is the one tip you would give somebody who is just getting started?
Do your research! Also, try to consult with a professional to give you some tips and good advice.
Ok so this is not totally about my training or anything but I'd just like to say that the Giants are going all the way. Those Pats are goin downn!! Yea yea, it's a stretch, but you know what??!!! It's possible. There's gonna be an upset and I can't wait to see it. It would really be killer to...
Well, bummer about being so busy, but I hope the move and new job will be good for you! You look great, be sure to post some progress pics when you get back to training!
