How I Started:
Recently stepped on a scale and saw my weight was 252. I drew the line and decided it was time to do something to turn this thing around.
Why I Love It:
Since I have started training, I have already dropped my weight down to 237. I feel better already, my mood has improved, and even though I can not see it yet, my wife says I am starting to look better.
How I Stay Motivated:
I took some pics when I started and they are horrible (bad enough that there is no way they are going up for the world to see). When I think I might want to skip a workout, I remember those pics, making me want to work harder.

Goal (Long):
When I started this program, I had several issues:
1) I felt terrible
2) I looked worse than I felt
3) My moods were just awful
My body is shaped weird. I have a very heavy top, thickish through the chest and a flabby tummy with love handles, but I have skinny arms and legs. Basically, besides the thick chest, I want to take everything in the opposite direction of what they are now. Bigger arms and legs, smaller belly, no love handles.
Additionally, I have serious strength issues. My legs, though small, are quite strong. My upper body lifts, however, are quite pathetic. I am looking to maintain or increase my lower body strength while dramatically increasing my upper body strength (basically, I need to double every lift just to reach what most would consider decent, not even good).
