Supplements are just that, they supplement the program. Nothing is as essential as the work you put into it. The work gets you there.
The most important supplements that I'm currently using are:
hemp protein w/fiber (I use plant protein because it doesn't cause breakouts in my skin and the bad gas that I get from whey)
BCAAs (helps during workout to keep from burning muscle/also helps muscle to recover faster)
MCT oil (fast burning fat that provides fast energy and encourages further fat burning in the body)
Cayenne pepper capsules (better than coffee at waking you up and getting you moving, take with FOOD)
Digestive enzymes (helps digestion with all the heavily processed foods we eat today)
And as a preworkout I cycle between Crazed and Nano Vapor. I prefer Crazed, but I bought the Nano Vapor for the 2 for 1 special to try it out. It's ok.

There are some great folks on bodyspace that have their own youtube channels to show what they have been doing. It's a great place to start. Lawrence Ballenger is extremely active on there. Other good youtube channels that are bodyspacers are SwiftM4Y0, Jude Kingsley, Sim86, DBus28, EMOG2310, and amalonjao.
