hey I just came across your conversation from earlier in the year, and I too am an oil rig/scr electrician...worked for Parker Drilling on land rigs, but now applying for a position with Noble, but we will have to see if I get it, they do an intense background check...called my high school, I am 33 so thats diggin way back...anyhow you know much about Noble? How long have you been working on rigs? I have never been offshore, all land rigs, so if I get this it will be a nice bump up in pay too...
100k is not bad. im only swinging about 60k well 48 takehome. but then again drilling rigs make 4x the amout that pulling units do. around my area that is. not bad for a 20 yearold tho
