Since its establishment in the mid-1800s, the Baha'i Faith has been incessantly persecuted in Iran by the Islamic government. Recently, persecution of Baha'is has intensified: among the acts of aggression against Baha'is: ban of Baha'is from attending university; arson attacks; imprisonment without charges; and a law which states that Baha'i "apostates" are to be executed.
