I took a few weight training courses in my freshman/sophomore years in college. I know it sounds like a cliche, but after -- in one of those classes -- the instructor rolled in a TV/VCR, and put in the Pumping Iron tape, I knew bodybuilding was for me.

I'm in my 2nd year at UIC in Peoria, so we start clinicals this year, but it's also class-intense. people say that the first year is a joke compared to this year...but i'm not worried, i'll get used to it. UIC-P has one of the most rigorous curricula in the state AND nation for medical school..and they kick ass on the boards!
