Fit Status:
Still trying to get ripped, it will probably be a few more months of dieting.
I took a few weight training courses in my freshman/sophomore years in college. I know it sounds like a cliche, but after -- in one of those classes -- the instructor rolled in a TV/VCR, and put in the Pumping Iron tape, I knew bodybuilding was for me.
Why I Love It:
It gets the endorphins flowing, and makes studying and memorization easier. As long as things are not taken to an extreme (e.g., steroids), bodybuilding is great for physical as well as mental health. I am of the opinion that it is important for people to take care of the body that God has given them.
How I Stay Motivated:
Reading the Word of God; reading about success stories of other men on this site; bodybuilding literature; and watching Pumping Iron over and over again!
BB Accomplishments:
None, but I have won awards in martial arts (e.g., silver for sparring, bronze for form).
