Background

When I Started: Jul 2007
HOW I STARTED:

Well for a brief background on myself.. I was always active, I played football & baseball since I was around 6. My 'sports' career stopped at the end of 8th grade, as we moved to a new school district and I suddenly started to fall into hell. In 8th grade I ran track, and the following summer I started eating anything I felt like it, and it became a habit. My daily breakfast and meals usually consisted of corn beef hash, fudge cakes, and all other types of refined poison. As I moved into a new, RICH, school district, being my poor self living in a disugsting trailor, making friends was definately impossible. I got picked on daily, and my self esteem dropped tons which's currently in the works of getting boosted =) I must say Ive came a long way. Anyways, throughout 9th grade I went through utter Hell, I struggled to find why I wasnt being accepted.. I hated it..I ended up failing 9th grade and denied going to Summer School on behalf of fearing the same outcome by getting picked on. Well.. one day I believe I was watching Ali vs. George Foreman.. and seeing his physique just brightened up my eyes. I instantly had a 'spark', an URGE to lose weight.. I must say I wasnt NEARLY educated with nutrition as I am now.. I began starving myself you can say, only eating around 1 meal per day as well as vast amounts of gatoraid. I began doing millions of crunches, sit ups, and push ups, as well as hours of playing wall ball in the summer. Then I started to get compliments from my Mom, even though she said she misses the 'chubby cheeks' I once had. I strived to lose weight and at the end of the summer I accomplished my goal but.. I wasnt near my perfected physique. As our trailor flooded out way before, in around April 2005-ish.. we had to move again to another school district, this time to a Country one as Id be going into 9th/10th grade. I must say I enjoyed it much more than the previous one, despite not making too many friends. I became somewhat of a health freak, as I read Tom Venutos "Burn the fat feed the muscle." But yet again I made stupid mistakes, over training and not knowing enough. But.. I learned more and more and Id say around January/March i started gettin things right, yet still over training. May marks the appropriate time of me lifting weights Id say, as Ive begn to do them in proper form. But i lacked the knowledge of Post Workout meals and such still, as well as me being a skinny bastard haha. After many binging problems setting me back in June, and July, I decided Id begin a bulk since I FINALLY worked up enough money for an Olympic Weight Set. And currently here I am bulking...wishing and striving for that physique I want so badly down the road =) AND I WILL ACHIEVE IT!

WHY I LOVE IT:

Words can't really describe why I love body building so much. From the urge to push myself...to the time it passes...to the thoughts and stress it blocks off...

Cutting

After my 'long' bulk , I have decided to enter a cutting phase in which'll last 2-3 months. I plan to re enter a slower, clean/lean bulk at the end of December, in hopes to finally surpass 160lbs.   I plan to cut 'till I reach approximately 8% BF , yet I don't want to dip under 148lbs. (seeing as the climax of my bulk left me @ 160lbs, 13% bf.)  Calories will taper over the weeks, and I plan to go about more of an anabolic-diet approach, where as I intake no more than 30 carbs per day, having one carb up day a week. Training Routine & Diet

My current bulking Diet is as followed : 4000 cals 300g protein 350g carbs 175g fat Until I stop gaining .5-1.5lbs a week I won't increase calories. Some days I might adjust the carbs and fat on behalf of how I feel ; or else if there's only a carb/fat source available at my place in which case I'll have to change to meet overall calorie intake. Current Training Routine : (thanks liftthatiron) Monday- Push Tuesday- Off Wednesday- Pull Thursday- Off Friday- Legs Saturday- abs, forearms, calves, traps Sunday- Off or cardio Rest 60 seconds between sets and 120 seconds between exercises If you are...

786yoshi hi, I just need some advice on how to make my waist bigger (more muscular not fatter) , my pelvic bone is wider than my waist and my upper body is also wider then my waist, so my waist goes inwards, I just want my waist to be the same width as my pelvic bone or a fraction bigger so I don't look as skinny and curvy. what exercises could I do to make my waist wider, I've heard deadlifts and squat can make your waist wider?
