When I Started:
Feb, 2009
How I Started:
I've been wanting to get back into shape for a while. Finally got the motivation, with the help of my sister, to start doing it.
Why I Love It:
Its slowly becoming an addiction for me. I love the feeling after working out, the feeling of accomplishment.
I also can't wait to be able to just walk into a store and pick clothes off the rack without size being an issue.
How I Stay Motivated:
Just seeing how much more energy I have and noticing the changes in my body. This is a life change for me, so I'm not looking for immediate results, this is something I will be doing for the rest of my life so I know my goal is just right around the corner and I will get there. I just try to stay positive and even if I falter at times, just pick myself back up and keep going.
I also want to show myself and others that when putting your mind to something and putting in the dedication, it does pay off.
I also have a lot of good friends to help me stay focused.
As well, surfing around BB and looking at all the other women who have achieved their goal. Gives hope to those of us just starting...
In the end, with or without help, you have to want it for yourself not anyone else to achieve your goals.
To lose about 50lbs or more by the end of this year.
Goal (Long):
I just want to get back to a healthy weight and live a healthier lifestyle. I want to enjoy life and not take a back seat. Be able to experience things that being heavy hasn't allowed me to do. I want this to be a lifestyle change.
Alright, 2nd week into my second month. I didn't weigh in last week so as of yesterday, I've lost another 3lbs and a few more inches. Keep telling myself to be happy for any loss. So I am. This month I am determined as I was when I first started if not more. Totally going hardcore this month...
You are doing a great job! Slower, steadier weightloss increases the chances of it staying off. So you are going about it in the right way. Your stats show that you have been steadily dropping. Great work and keep it up!!
